新加坡被誉为东方现代文明的典范,不仅经济建设成就令人敬慕,而且思想道德建设也令世界瞩目。新加坡中小学校公民道德教育是新加坡思想道德建设的重要组成部分,他们从本国思想道德建设的大局出发,遵循青少年思想品德形成的规律,贴近本国价值观教育的实际,贴近青少年的生活,贴近青少年思想特点,卓有成效地开展中小学校公民思想道德建设,在对中小学生进行国家意识的培养、个人品德教育、创造能力的培养等方面的经验值得我们借鉴。
