硬盘的存储容量对数字电影来说非常重要,这样使用较少的硬盘即可达到既定的存储容量。随着数字电影的分辨率、帧率和色彩深度的不断提高的趋势,其档案文件的整体大小也将不断增大。使用3.5英寸硬盘这样既符合成本效益,又拥有高存储性能和高数据传输速率的存储设备,将是储存和播放高分辨率的大型影片内容的关键。使用外置存储系统代替独立媒体模块的内置硬盘,让硬盘在较低温度下运行,从而提高硬盘的可靠性和使用寿命。此外,外置存储可使用具备更高容量和数据传输速率的3.5英寸硬盘而非2.5英寸硬盘,更适合传输分辨率较高的视频內容。随着硬盘技术的不断发展,将能够支持未来更高分辨率、更高帧率和更高色彩深度的视频内容。
