Intrusive and non-intrusive radar detectors, compatible with existing inductive loop detectors, have been developed at 2.4GHz.The intrusive detector is based on simple CW radar technology, and the non-intrusive detector on both FMCW altimeter and Doppler speedometer technologies. The test results show that the intrusive detector development has improved accuracy by 7.1 percent in length and 4.8 percent in speed, while the non-intrusive improved by approximately 8 percent in speed and length over the ILD.
