王集选厂是我国建成的第一个大型胶磷矿选厂,根据近年一、三层矿分选所出现的问题,我矿提出混选的工艺方案,且在试生产中获得较好结果。 一、分选工艺的由来 王集磷矿为震旦系海相沉积型磷矿床,有工业价值的主要是一、三层矿。一层矿实际出矿品位P_2O_524.47%,可以直接制肥或制黄磷,而三层矿品位只有13.5%,经选矿才能加以利用。60年代化工矿山设计研究院开始三层矿的选矿研究,70年代化工部决定首先在王集建设选矿厂。为确保精矿供应山西化肥厂,要求一、三层矿全部入选。这时三层矿已作宁大量研究,扩试指标亦达部要求,而一层矿仅作了些探索试验,也未鉴定。为了建厂需要,设计时一层矿套用了三层矿的选矿工艺。这样,就形成了一、三层矿分别破碎、磨矿、浮选、精矿粉在精矿仓用抓斗混合的方案。
