众所周知,甘薯黑斑病的病薯含有毒质,牲畜误食较多可引起中毒,患气喘病,严重的可以致死。用病薯作为发酵原料时,则毒害酵母菌和糖化酶菌,使发酵延缓,并降低酒精质量和产量。本病曾被列为植检对象,但近年来由于病害扩展蔓延迅速,已难于控制。目前,全国各甘薯产区几乎都有不同程度发生,损失很大。病菌通过种薯、薯苗和土壤等多种途径传播,因此,给病害防治工作带来相当大的困难。
