英国美学协会主席Harold Osbome在《评价与状貌》(Assessnent and Stature)(British Journal of Aesthtics.Vol 24.NO.1.Wnter 1984)一文中,相对于现代造型艺术的特征,提出了三条标准:1、理解的升华(The promotion of understanding),2、非语言的思想性(Non—Verbal Thought),3、情绪的强度(Emotional Quality)。
How to evaluate the modern style art has always been a very complicated issue. Since the 20th century, art theory has basically borrowed from the philosophy of cultural studies and literary criticism of the basic concepts, and these concepts are mostly focused on the concept of the concept of plastic arts, in the form and the shape of material in the stationed Division is prohibitive. The morphological study of modern plastic art is almost impossible. In his article Assessnent and Stature (British Journal of Aesthtics. Vol 24. NO.1. Wnter 1984), Harold Osbome, chairman of the British Aesthetic Society, proposed three criteria with respect to the characteristics of modern modeling art: 1, The promotion of understanding, 2, Non-Verbal Thought, 3, Emotional Quality. It should be said that his three standards are still very universal, and he clearly pointed out in the article: a work of art, either can have one or three at the same time. These three criteria apparently stand out from the perspective of the viewing and understanding of the work, thus cleverly escaping the theory brought about by the infinite diversity of the media of modern art
