近年来,湖北省监狱管理部门、各监狱特殊学校坚持“教育人、改造人、造就人”的办学宗旨,把扫盲教育作为对罪犯进行文化教育的“重中之重”,精心组织,取得了明显成效。今年上半年办扫盲班257个,有5060名文盲罪犯参加学习,脱盲1578人。1991年至今,共有48440名罪犯参加学习,脱盲21149人。这些罪犯脱了盲,给监狱和社会带来新气象。监管实践使战斗在改造一线的干警和领导认识到:心灵的黑暗必须用知识来驱除。对于文盲罪犯这一特殊群体,必须进行扫盲教育。这不仅是贯彻落实国务院《扫除文盲工作条例》的要求,也是创建现代化文明监狱的内在要求,还是对文盲罪犯进行思想、道德、法纪教育和文化、职业技术教育的基础。各监狱把扫盲教育摆在对文盲罪犯进行改造的“重中之重”地位,强化了对扫
In recent years, the prison administrations in Hubei Province and special schools in various prisons have adhered to the principle of “educating, reorganizing and building people” and have taken literacy education as the “top priority” for the criminal education of culprits, carefully organizing and obtaining Obvious results.
