本文以克拉申二语习得理论中的输入假说和情感过滤假说为理论基础,探索VOA(美国之音,包括慢速英语和常速英语)作为增强大学生英语课外学习的可理解输入材料的可行性,并对其应用于教学实践的方法和途径提出建议。同时借用“学得-习得”相融相长的观点,指出在大学英语教学中利用VOA有助于促进学生的语言习得和学得。
Based on the input hypothesis and emotion-filtering hypothesis in Krashen’s second language acquisition theory, this dissertation explores VOA (Voice of America, including slow-speed and constant-speed English) as a comprehensible input material to enhance college students’ extracurricular learning And make suggestions on the ways and means of applying it to teaching practice. At the same time, by borrowing from the perspective of “learning - acquisition”, we point out that the use of VOA in college English teaching helps to promote students’ language acquisition and learning.
