Ultrafine particles have attracted the attention of scientists for their unique properties in all aspects. Their application in catalysis has also catalyzed the demonstration of a dynamic and energetic field of research. From the current research in this field, it can be seen that ultrafine particles have high activity and selectivity for catalytic oxidation, reduction and cleavage reactions and also have obvious photocatalytic activity for hydrogen production from photolysis to water and some organic synthesis reactions.
