本研究表明该种子具有休眠特性。通过低温层积处理,能有效地解除休眠。赤霉素处理后,种子吸胀萌动期有关生理生化变化以及种子抽提物的生物鉴定,结果与低温层积种子的变化趋势是一致的.此说明赤霉素和低温层积具有相似效应.低温层积60天的种子.大田播种出苗率达52.8%,比对照增加了近4倍,保苗率为89.8%,目前苗木生长良好,已育成珍贵盆景幼苗。在生产上日本五针松大田育苗成功,在国内尚未见报道。
