In 1649, a historic event in Great Britain took place: King Charles I was sent to the Guillotine by the revolutionary people. Fear of the feudal forces at home and abroad is alarmed, and one after another vilified and attacked the new-born bourgeois revolutionary regime. Charles II, who escaped to the European continent, encouraged the famous Latin scholar Salmeuds to write the book “Sound for the King,” blatantly denouncing the British Revolutionary government for the death of Charles I as unlawful.
