香港国际机场香港现有国际机场的启德机场,位于九龙城东南部,跑道建在九龙湾与观塘避风塘之间的人工半岛上。半岛长约2543m,宽约392m,启德机场设有机场大厦、航空货运中心和大厦,远东航运学校,机场酒店,飞机工程公司等,并有机场隧道与市区公路相连。停机坪39个,可供巨型飞机升降,日夜通航、航线可通东京、西雅图、纽约、悉尼、马尼拉、曼谷、孟买、伦敦及以国内京、津、沪、杭、广州、昆明等地。由于香港启德机场空运量逐年增加,1983年航空货运总量已居世界首位。为此于1989年港英当局决定在九龙半岛西面大屿山岛北岸赤(鱼巤)角岛兴
Hong Kong International Airport Hong Kong The existing international airport of Kai Tak Airport is located in the southeast of Kowloon City. The runway is built on the artificial peninsula between Kowloon Bay and Kwun Tong Typhoon Shelter. The peninsula is about 2543m long and 392m wide. Kai Tak Airport is equipped with airport buildings, air cargo centers and buildings, Far Eastern Shipping Schools, airport hotels, and aircraft engineering companies. There are airport tunnels connected to urban roads. There are 39 apron landing platforms, which can be used for lifting and agitation by giant aircraft. Day and night flights are available. The routes can connect to Tokyo, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Manila, Bangkok, Mumbai, London and domestic cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Kunming. As the volume of air transport at the Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong has increased year by year, the total volume of air cargo in 1983 has ranked first in the world. For this reason, in 1989, the Hong Kong British authorities decided to set up on the north shore of Lantau Island on the northern shore of Lantau Island in Chek Lap Kok Island.
