试验的目的是了解环剥对植物生长、发育、结铃和铃的成熟速度的影响。1957年在塔什干农学院实习农场进行的棉花环剥试验。4月23日播种,108夫品种,种植方式为50×50厘米,每次一株。棉花主茎的环剥的处理如下:第一处理是在子叶以下剥去一条宽1—1.5厘米的表皮;第二处理是在第一假轴枝以下进行环剥。主茎上环剥部分的木质部至生长末期均外露着。每处理环剥5株。在环剥植株的旁边留一株不进行环剥的作为对照。
