随着原南方证券总裁阚治东等三人被捕,中国证券市场元老们的传奇划上了句号。监管层对南方证券痛下重典则发出了信号：券商高管问责动真格了。据称还有10家左右的问题券商将要加速被整顿。在证券业沉浮多年,著名的“阚二毛”阚治东本已淡出江湖了,却没想到再次以戏剧化的方式谢幕,令人扼腕叹息。这位原申银万国总经理,1997年涉嫌“违规操作”蛰伏五年后,在南方证券复出却最终折戟沉沙。南方证券的历史性问题积重难返, 非阚所能盘活,其豪赌性格、操作手法反而使南方证券越走越远,加速死亡,“救星成了灾星”。 2003年9月,阚治东黯然离开后,和原上海证券交易所总经理尉文渊等转战产业投资基金。2004年1月,南方证券危机爆发并被行政托管,罪贵仍需追究,今年3月,阚治东、刘波、郭元先涉嫌“操纵证券交易价格”被逮捕。
