前不久举行的上海昆剧精英展览演出中,上海市戏曲学校中年教师张洵澎主演的《寻梦》受到了观众赞赏。那天,幻灯出了意外,演《寻梦》没字幕,真使我为张洵澎捏了一把冷汗。不料观众依然看得十分有味,还不时为她优美的身段动作鼓掌。我邻座的童芷苓频频跟着台上轻声吟唱,兴致勃勃地告诉我:“阿澎的身段特好,所以,去年我把她这戏拍成录像,带到美国去讲学示范。”这原是个将被人们遗忘的昆剧剧目,在舞台上绝迹近四十年。一九八二年,经张洵澎重新整理加工推上舞台后,很快赢得了文艺界有识之士的高度重视,有的撰文推荐,有的拜师求学。一折小戏的上演,竟能引起如此强烈的反响,绝非偶然。我认为,沿着这条成功的轨迹,
