Abstract Objective To evaluate the influence of multiple parameters (T2-weighted, diffusion-weighted and dynamic contrast-enhanced) MR imaging in detecting prostate cancer. Methods A total of 175 prostate cancer patients undergoing total prostatectomy were included in the study and were evaluated by two radiologists on 1.5 T (n = 71) and 3.0 (n = 71) rectal coil using (n = 58) T (n = 104) MRI images were independently analyzed using subjective evaluation criteria (SSS) of 5 points for all suspicious focal lesions were evaluated, the performance of MRI and the whole specimen embedded pathological sections were compared. Results Two radiologists found that 192 to 214 of 362 were cancerous lesions, of which 130 to 155 were false 3
