建筑历史教学在以往的课程中,常常以风格史作为重点。笔者在所主持的“西方历史建筑形制与工艺”课程中,尝试突破传统的教学方法,从结构、材料、技术和施工等其他角度来重新解读历史建筑。课程采用了“研讨型”教学模式,让学生自己收集资料并深入剖析历史中的典型建筑案例。学生们通过这一过程的训练,对于建筑历史和建筑本身的特质和丰富内涵都有了更为深入的了解,理解了建筑和承载它的材料、技术和工艺之间所具有的密不可分的关系,同时也领悟了有关“Archi-Neering”的含义。论文选择了三个同样具有穹顶结构的典型建筑案例,展开了对其形态以及结构、材料、技术、施工工艺方面的深入剖析,展示了学生们在课堂实践中所进行的探讨及其多方面的反思。
