把中国菜翻译成英文,可让外国游客就餐时了解中国传统文化,促进国际交流。然而,中西文化有差异,许多翻译不能完全出让游客感受到菜品所表达的文化。因此,本文试图以语用等效理论为框架,从等效的原则出发,提炼出尝试性的解决办法。
Translating Chinese food into English allows foreign tourists to understand Chinese traditional culture and promote international exchanges. However, there are differences between Chinese and Western cultures and many translations can not completely convey the visitor’s feeling of the culture expressed in the dishes. Therefore, this article attempts to pragmatic equivalence theory as a framework, starting from the equivalent principle, extract the tentative solution.
