木兰替父从军的故事源于北朝民歌《木兰辞》,一千多年来,木兰故事不停地被改写,从文字到舞台再到荧屏,木兰故事在随着时间轴而向现代化演变的同时,也实现了从文字到视觉上的跨媒介再现。而通过舞台、荧屏等视觉化的媒介来对木兰故事进行再表达,必定相比起文字而言有着更大的表现空间。木兰故事本无确切的历史考证,这样一个“背景清白”的题材恰好为改写者提供了对木兰故事扩容的条件。经笔者阅读相关研究文献发现,对于木兰故事的改写研究,更多地在“木兰形象”“文化主题”等方面,而少有通过媒介这一线索对木兰故事进行一个梳理与剖析。本文则试图以媒介为线索,力图梳理木兰故事的演变过程;经阅读相关文献资料和思考后,笔者认为木兰故事从文字到视觉的表达变化中,其故事核心架构仍然不变,但通过视觉上对原文本的扩容,为改写者在塑造木兰形象、展现作品风格以及阐释主题上提供了各自发挥的空间,因而我们通过不同媒介所表现的“木兰”作品,可以看出木兰故事的演变过程。
The Story of Mulan Ban Fu Army originated from the Northern Song Dynasty folk song “Mulan Ci”. For more than a thousand years, the Mulan story has been constantly rewritten. From the writing to the stage to the screen, Mulan story evolves toward modernization along with the timeline , But also from the text to visual cross-media reproduction. And through the stage, the screen and other visual media to reproduce the story of Magnolia, must have compared to the text has a larger space for expression. Magnolia story no exact historical textual research, such a “background innocence ” theme just for the rewriters to provide expansion of Magnolia story conditions. After reading the relevant research literature, the author finds that there is not a lot of sorting out and analyzing the story of Magnolia through the medium of clue about the rewriting and researching of Mulan stories, especially in “Mulan Image ” “Cultural Theme . This article attempts to use the media as a clue to try to sort out the evolution of the story of Magnolia. After reading the relevant literature and thinking, I believe that the core structure of the Story of Magnolia remains the same from the writing to the visual expression. However, We can see the evolution of the story of Mulan through the expansion of the original texts, the rewriter’s space for shaping the image of the magnolia, the style of the work presented and the theme of the interpretation. Therefore, we can see the evolution of the Mulan story through ”Mulan" works represented by different media process.
