黄河中游地区严重的水土流失,既为农业生产的大害,又是黄河泥沙的重要物质来源。防治水土流失,控制入黄泥沙,多年来一直为国内外专家学者和广大人民群众所关注。本文根据在陕北、陇东典型地区的查勘资料,从解剖水土流失发生的地形、地质背景条件入手,探讨水土流失的防治问题。一、水土流失的基本特征水土流失的实质问题是现代侵蚀问题。侵蚀作用的全过程是地表径流与地形之间相互作用、相互影响的过程。在一定的坡形条件下,地表径流开始产生侵蚀;而侵蚀作用的结果又改变了原来的坡形及相应的地表径流条件,引起了新的侵蚀。如此反复循环,
