作为清代著名的篆刻家,徐三庚精于金石文字,善篆隶。徐三庚的篆书参以金冬心(金农)的侧笔用法,纤细流丽,飘逸多姿,在吴熙载、赵之谦外另辟面目,其篆书被誉为“曹衣出水、吴带当风”;印章由浙派入手,力追秦汉,参学邓完白及汉碑额篆与天发神谶碑意趣,早年所作浑朴古厚,中年后流转妍美,线条疏密感极强,笔势飞动,时人誉为“吴带当风,姗姗尽致”。他的印款多隶楷,刀法猛利,有生辣遒劲之致,其印曾风靡一时,对日本篆刻界产生相当影响。今年恰值徐三庚190周年诞辰之际,特推出徐三庚专题,以飨读者。
