由太平洋经济合作理事会17个成员制订的《太平洋经济展望》报告书指出:太平洋地区整体经济增长率1993年将为4.4%,1994年为4.7%,经济将明显复苏。美国经济1993年将增长3%,1994年将增长2.7%;日本今年将增长3.1%,明年增长4.5%;香港、韩国、新加坡、台湾等将介于5.2—10.5%之间;中国1993年将达9.5%,1994年将为9%,而且在10年之内将保持这一增长速度,保持亚太地区之冠。10年后,中国将从泛太平洋地区脱颖而出,跻身世界经济强国之列。 1992年中国进口总额达1656亿美元,比1991年增加近300亿美元,增长22.1%。其中,出口850亿美元,增长18.3%;进口806亿美元,增长26.4%。
According to the Pacific Economic Outlook prepared by 17 members of the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council, the overall economic growth rate in the Pacific region will be 4.4% in 1993 and 4.7% in 1994, and the economy will see a clear recovery.
