自79年以来,耐火纤维在热处理炉上开始推广使用,取得了相当显著的节电效果,但一般用于箱式电炉较多。目前,改造方法仍以包复法为主,特别在井式炉上,一般都是在原炉衬上包复一层10mm耐火纤维毡。79年我厂曾在JT-105井式渗碳炉(以后简称为炉子)上应用此法进行改装。改装后起初一、二个月中节电效率保持在28%左右,但经受不了长时间的考验。这种包复法存在着以下几个问题:
