乡村教育研究者一直聚焦于儒家经典,从中寻求教育观念传统,并以此作为乡村教育观念现代化的起点,底层乡村民众的教育观念传统被遮蔽。通过对苏北M村进行深入的民族志研究,该村民众“务实求验”的思维逻辑被发掘。这主导着他们对教育的认识,构成了乡村教育观念的另一种“传统”。此独特“传统”的发现突破了乡村教育观念研究的精英视角,使认识中国教育观念传统的整体和描述乡村教育观念现代化的全景具有了可能。
Rural education researchers have been focusing on the Confucian classics, from which to seek the educational concept of tradition, and as a starting point for the modernization of rural education concept, the underlying concept of the education of rural people is obscured. Through in-depth ethnography research on village M in northern Jiangsu Province, the villagers’ logic of thinking in “Practicality Inspection” has been discovered. This dominates their understanding of education and constitutes another “tradition” of rural educational concepts. The discovery of this unique “tradition” has broken through the elite perspective of the study of the concept of rural education, making it possible to understand the whole of the traditional Chinese concept of education and to modernize the concept of rural education.
