北京:语文出版社,1989年版本书从中国文字演变的趋势,分别论述了新加坡、中国和日本三国推行简体字的目的、历史渊源、社会背景,以及启用简体字的利弊得失。进而对三国简体字的异同、简化方式、推行方法和实际成效等诸问题,作了综合性的比较研究。作者谢世涯,新加坡南洋大学中文系荣誉文学士,台湾大学中国文学硕士,新加坡国立大学哲学博士。现为南洋理工大学国立教育学院中文系副教授。研究范围主要是文学理论、古典文学与新文学、语言文字研究、语文规范化与标准化。著有《中国文学史讲稿》《南唐李后主词研究》《新中日简体字研究》等。其中《新中日简体字研究》一书分为五篇十七章,
Beijing: Chinese Language Press, 1989 The trend of the book’s evolution from Chinese characters discusses respectively the purpose, historical origins and social background of promoting simplified Chinese characters in Singapore, China and Japan, as well as the pros and cons of using simplified Chinese characters. Furthermore, we make a comprehensive comparative study of the similarities and differences of simplified Chinese characters, ways of simplification, implementation methods and practical results.
