中山大学图书馆历史悠久,近百年来多方汇集各种图籍,其中古籍文献资源涵盖经、史、子、集、丛各个门类,除了4万多种30多万册的中国古籍外,还庋藏了近500种古代朝鲜、日本、越南刊刻的古籍,其中朝鲜本182种200部985册,和刻本256种288部1929册,安南本3种3部4册。这批馆藏域外汉籍,从内容上来看,经史子集丛五部悉备,其中朝鲜本以史部居多,和刻本以子部胜出。 Sun Yat-sen University Library has a long history.
