定向玻璃纤维/环氧管不但具有很高的强度,而且有优良的柔性。当埋入地下受到多种荷载(包括内、外压)作用时,必须从实际出发,利用柔性管的土壤力学概念,分析其应力特性、把暴露在土荷载和内压条件下的环氧增强管性能分析结果与钢和水泥/石棉管进行比较。本文从应力的观点,讨论了模拟土壤掩埋情况下12英寸管的性能。给出了内部几何特征对诸参数,如:压扁刚度、压扁韧性、弯曲强度和压缩性能的影响数据。
