自1985年5月被分配到山丹培黎图书馆后,我就把“读者第一,服务至上”作为工作中的座右铭。这八个字道出图书馆员最佳服务手段和最高思想境界,够我为之奋斗一辈子的。只有一心扑在图书馆事业上的人,才能贴身心地体会到本职工作的“乐在其中”。为了尽快地认识读者,熟悉读者,了解读者,和读者建立诚挚的感情,从站到出纳台前的那天起,我就认真细致地写馆员工作日记,至今没有中断过,记述了数百位读者,30余万字。工作日记内容,记读者来馆留给自己的第一印象,交往过程,借借还还,缺书登记,馆内活动,拾零,也作自我心理剖析,电石火花的片断速写等等。时间稍长,受益匪浅。
