目前在城市社区中,存在数目相当可观的群众文化活动组织,这些组织小的有十几人,大的上百人。他们多由机关企事业单位退休离岗和进城养老人员组成,以自发组织、自愿参与、自我管理的基本形态,开展着器乐、戏曲、歌舞、书画、棋牌、武术、体操等文体活动。他们活跃在社区的群众之中,经常参加社区的公益活动,不仅愉悦了自己,也丰富了社区的群众文化生活。这样的群众组织,对于既缺少广播电视又缺少报纸杂志等舆论宣传阵地的城区而言,在基层宣传思想工作中有着特殊的作用。
At present, there are a large number of mass cultural organizations in urban communities. These organizations are small with more than a dozen people and a large population of hundreds. They are mostly composed of retired and in-town retirees from institutions, enterprises and institutions, and carry out cultural and sports activities such as instrumental music, opera, song and dance, calligraphy and painting, chess, martial arts and gymnastics with the principle of spontaneous organization, voluntary participation and self-management. They are active in the community among the masses, often participate in community charity activities, not only pleasure themselves, but also enrich the community’s mass cultural life. Such mass organizations have a special role in propaganda and ideological work at the grass-roots level in urban areas that lack publicity positions such as radio and television and lack newspapers and magazines.
