Totally, 90 Pacific salmon with an initial weight of 217g were stocked in a 0.25m3 aquarium for 32d at a water temperature of (15.5 ± 1.7) ℃ to study the effects of starvation on the growth and biochemical composition of the Pacific salmon. The results showed that: on the 32nd, starvation had no effect on the survival rate of Pacific salmon, and the relative weight loss rate increased significantly with the prolongation of starvation time; when starving, the fish first used glycogen and fat, then muscle fat substance. The whole body of fish during the hunger mainly use liver fat and muscle fat as energy substances.
