野鲤,其敏感的视觉、嗅觉、味觉、触觉器官的协调作用,能辨识饵的色、味、形及其优劣而决定取舍。故此,制用鲤饵需在色、味上下功夫。其敏感颜色是黄、红、绿,这就要求我们制饵时要注意饵色的引诱作用,其中饵食中添加黄色素为最佳办法。其喜食的味道是一香二腥三甜。纵观五花八门的商品饵,都离不开香腥二料,甜味饵有些野鲤也喜欢,因其在水中易溶化,有较好的扩散性及诱鱼性。反之鲤鱼对苦辣、酸涩味很反感,制饵时应加以避免。
