Introduction Since the mid-1970s, PLZT electro-optic ceramic materials have been used as light shutters in military and industrial applications; however, these materials were not successfully used for display devices until 1983. Literature [1] reported that PLZT display technology has been upgraded to replace the current display technology, especially in more demanding occasions. The PLZT display is an all-solid-state display that has a simple structure and is characterized by (1) response speed, (2) viewing angle, (3) operating temperature range, and (4) full panel display characteristics when viewed with natural color or color polarizer Better than liquid crystal (LC) displays. The main disadvantage of these devices is the high operating voltage (175V). Figure 1 shows a typical reflective display.
