The third meeting of Soil and Water Conservation Commission of the middle reaches of the Yellow River was held in Xi’an from February 13 to February 15. The meeting was chaired by Cheng Andong, governor of Shaanxi Province. The meeting was attended by the responsible comrades of the State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture and the vice governors in charge of agriculture in the seven provinces (autonomous regions) of the middle reaches of the Yellow River Commander Lian Lian, Huang Ziqiang, deputy director and other comrades. The main task of this meeting is to sum up exchange of the Yellow River
