郑州铁路局为适应西陇海线自动闭塞及京广线实行长交路轮乘制的需要,于1983年10月20日~26日分别在郑州至三门峡西及郑州至武昌间,进行了北京型内燃机车牵引扩大编组旅客列车的牵引试验。在京广线长交路试验中,牵引重量突破1000吨通过武胜关高坡地段。这次试验是按照“郑电机[83]387号”电报内容进行的。试验由郑州铁路局主持,参加单位有武汉分局、郑州机务南段、武昌南机务段和北京二七机车工厂。试验情况如下:
Zhengzhou Railway Bureau to adapt to the West Longhai automatic blockade and the Beijing-Guangzhou line long roundabout system needs, in October 20, 1983 to 26, respectively, Zhengzhou to Sanmenxia West and Zhengzhou to Wuchang, Beijing Traction Test of Expanding Group Passenger Train Driven by Diesel Locomotives. In the Beijing-Guangzhou line long cross-road test, the traction weight exceeded 1,000 tons through Wushengguan high slope lot. This test was carried out in accordance with the telegram “Zheng Motor [83] No. 387”. The trial was presided over by Zhengzhou Railway Bureau. The participating units included Wuhan Branch, Zhengzhou South Depot, Wuchang South Depot and Beijing Erqi Locomotive Factory. Test conditions are as follows:
