A DVD consists of two monolithic bonding processes. Bonding is the main process of DVD production. A variety of DVD discs, regardless of format or storage capacity, are made from two 0.6mm monolithic bonded processes. The DVD-5 is a monolithic, blank monolithic sheet with a recording surface and a sputtered reflective layer. DVD-9, DVD-10, DVD-14, and DVD-18 have metalized pits on both monolithic recording surfaces. Adhesive materials must be universal for bonding systems that are suitable for all DVD formats. The bonding process is formed on two different material levels
