霍乱弧菌的毒力包括霍乱毒素(CT)和CT共调节菌毛(toxin-coregulated pili,TCP)。编码CT的基因为产毒株染色质上7~9.7kb的CTX遗传元件,它是由4.5kb的中心区域和2.7kb的重复序列(RS)组成。前者至少含6个基因(ctxA、ctxB、zot、cep、ace和orfU),后者至少编码4个开放读码框架(rstABCR),这些开放读码框架可催化带有CTX元件的质粒整合到非产毒霍乱弧菌染色质靶序列attRSI上。本文对CTX元件的传递进行了研究,发现在适宜条件下,它不仅可以自我传递,而且还能像质粒一样进
Vibrio cholerae virulence includes cholera toxin (CT) and CT-regulated pili (toxin-coregulated pili, TCP). The CT-encoding gene is a CTX genetic element of 7-9.7 kb in the chromatin of the toxigenic strain consisting of a 4.5 kb central region and a 2.7 kb repeat (RS). The former contains at least 6 genes (ctxA, ctxB, zot, cep, ace and orfU) that encode at least four open reading frames (rstABCR) that catalyze the integration of plasmids bearing CTX elements into non- Toxigenic V. cholerae chromatin target sequence attRSI. In this paper, the transmission of CTX elements has been studied and found that under appropriate conditions, it can not only self-transfer, but also into the plasmid
