“喷灌泵系列更新改进”课题是1982年列入机械工业部和国家经委节能攻关项目。该项目共有10种泵型(包括8种自吸泵,2种离心泵),流量15～50米~3/时,扬程20～55米,配套功率3～12马力。溺南省机械工业厅受机械工业部委托于1984年10月29日～11月1日在湖南省茶陵县召开了对该课题的10种泵型鉴定会。到会代表有机械工业部、水利电力部、武汉水电学院、华北水电学院北京研究生部、华中工学院、江苏省农机所等40余个单位的教授、工程师共48人。
