Western electromagnetism noun translated through an evolutionary process. In the midst of the mid-nineteenth century, the trend of western learning was very early. China first led the way by using “electric” and “electric” in ancient Chinese to translate “electric” and a few derivatives. After the translation reached Japan, during the period of Meiji Restoration (1868 ~ 1873), Japan formed new words based on the word “Dian” and translated more English nouns. After the reform of Japan, the West has surpassed China. Starting from the Reform Movement of 1898 (1898), these terms gradually translated back to China along the Chinese path of “absorbing Western learning through Japan” and became the Chinese translation. The “magnetism” and the translation method of “kong” based on the formation of kanji vocabularies were first adopted by Japan and along the same pattern as the Chinese translation. This is an integral part of Sino-Japanese cultural exchange.
