The Chinese proverb “Time of an inch, Time of gold is hard to buy, Time of day” interprets the value of time. Time is inherent to us, but the instruments used to measure time units are not, and their production and development are closely linked to human practice. The ancients continuously observe and accumulate in the long-term life practice, and gradually grasp the periodicity such as the rising of the sun, the moon and the absence of the moon, the seasonal changes, and so on, so people germinate the idea of using a stable cycle phenomenon to practice “size” As a turning point, various timing instruments appeared. Among them, the watch is one of the greatest inventions of mankind. It turns intangible time into a tangible hour-long cycle of movement and becomes the perfect crystallization of human intelligence and knowledge accumulation.
