At the invitation of Mr. Shinyi, the first person in Japan’s Firefly Research, I visited his Firefly Laboratory from Tokyo to Yokosuka City in the spring of 2009. Dachang Luyi devoted more than 30 years of time and passion to the firefly research and protection he loved. After retiring from the Yokosuka City Museum of Nature and Humanities, the government gave him a small tower in the largest park in the area to allow him to continue his play. Heat. He spent the day in two rooms in a small tower to study fireflies and explain to the public the beauty and protection of fireflies. Looking from the second floor of the tower to the surrounding area, the sea and sky are blue and beyond imagination. With enthusiasm and tirelessness, Mr. Oda gave me an account of the Japanese’s obsession and love for the fireflies.
