我厂在生产硬质合金小钻头、小铰刀等刃具时,工件的直径往往小于φ1.5mm,而且两端采取凸小顶尖的形式。生产时必须要用喇叭口小于φ0.75mm 的小型凹孔莫氏顶尖顶着磨削。加工这种莫氏顶尖是很困难的,主要是因为这种顶尖的孔口很小,最大不超过φ0.75mm。如果顶住这孔口,磨制莫氏圆锥 B 面时,吃刀量稍大一点,莫氏顶尖就要弹出来,易出工伤事故。我们通过反复实践,改进了小孔端的加工方法,先用两个顶尖(车头顶一只,尾座端一只)顶住这小顶
