“振远将军”铜炮是上海市历史博物馆藏珍贵文物之一。该大炮为上海市文物管理委员会1984年从吴淞古炮台遗址考古发掘后拨交上海市历史博物馆的。“振远将军”铜炮是清政府加强海防建设的产物。它不仅是上海人民抗英战争的重要物证,而且是研究鸦片战争时期上海地方历史和中国海防建设的珍贵实物资料;对研究鸦片战争时期中国兵器制造工艺而言,该炮也具有一定参考价值。
“General Zhenyuan” Copper cannon is one of the precious relics of the Shanghai Museum of History. The artillery piece was handed over to the Shanghai Museum of History by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Cultural Relics in 1984 after an archaeological excavation from the site of the ancient Fort Wusong. “Vibration General” The bronze gun is the Qing government to strengthen the building of coastal defense products. It is not only an important material evidence of the Anti-British War for Shanghai people, but also a valuable material for studying the local history of Shanghai in the Opium War and the construction of China’s coastal defense. In terms of studying the weapons manufacturing process during the Opium War, this artillery also has some reference value.
