采用氧乙炔焰焊(气焊)对以轴承钢为基体的轴承热冲模和以高速钢为基体的园盘耙方轴镦头模进行了钴基合金堆焊,焊后的模具使用寿命显著提高,两种模具寿命分别提高8倍和10倍。气焊钴基合金堆焊工艺虽然早有应用,但因焊接易出气孔和夹渣而始终未被广泛应用。本文总结了佳木斯轴承厂和佳木斯第二农机厂生产实践,介绍了比较稳定可行的焊接工艺。由于气焊冲淡率低,焊后合金性能好,叉节省较贵的钴合金焊丝,设备简单,所以便于在热锻件较多的中小型工厂推广应用。
