我们开发了一种含苯乙烯侧链的可光聚合和可溶的新型聚酰亚胺(PICA) ,用于对向列相液晶取向。用长波线性偏振紫外光(LPUV)照射PICA薄膜 ,能得到很好的液晶取向。液晶的取向方向垂直于入射LPUV光的偏振轴。由PICA薄膜诱发的液晶分子的取向 ,在加热至85℃并保持450小时后仍保持不变。采用两次曝光的方法能使PICA薄膜产生小的预倾角。
We have developed a novel photopolymerizable and soluble polyimide (PICA) with styrene side chains for the nematic liquid crystal orientation. Long-wave linearly polarized ultraviolet light (LPUV) irradiated PICA film, can be a good liquid crystal orientation. The orientation of the liquid crystal is perpendicular to the polarization axis of the incident LPUV light. The orientation of the liquid crystal molecules induced by the PICA film remained unchanged after heating to 85 ° C for 450 hours. Using double exposure method can make PICA film produce small pre-tilt angle.
