The 17th Winter Olympics will be held in Lillehammer, 180 km north of Oslo in Norway in 1994. The new three large stadiums are all made of glued wood structures. In Lillehammer, the roof of the Harcourt ice hockey hall is a plywood double truss girder with three hinged arches spanning 86 meters, a total of 7 spans and a length of 125 meters. Plywood truss beam triple hinged arches were used in the Huygen Speed Skating Hall in Hammer.
