The shortage of organs in kidney transplants has led to a need to devise new strategies to restore the structure and function of the kidneys. Recently, American researchers found that lymph nodes can produce or maintain complex structures such as the liver, pancreas, and thymus in an in vivo factory and further study whether lymph nodes also support renal organogenesis in mouse kidney embryonic tissue (the posterior kidney). The results for the first time found that after injection into the lymph nodes into the mature phenotype, and host cells to promote this process. Twelve weeks after transplantation, cyst formation with urine-like fluid was observed in several grafts, suggesting that the posterior kidney graft is capable of excreting substances from hemofiltration. Importantly, kidney grafts are able to adapt
