Short-distance swimming world-level achievements can only be based on the high level of speed and quality development. The main problem with current short-distance swimmers’ training is to improve the absolute speed of swimming. One of the solutions to this problem is to improve training methods of speed training. Our research addresses the following two issues: (1) Determine the reasonable number of repetitions for short-range (25-meter) swimming that contributes to speed quality development. (2) Determine the reasonable number of repetitions and contents of 25 meters in each group that is effective in the development of athletes’ speed and quality in the training class.
