The work area is the most basic unit of the cutting area for cutting survey design. In clear-cut operations, the size of the industrial area not only affects the cost of cutting timber in the area, but also affects the forest renewal effect of the logging area in the operation area. Currently implemented “Northeast, Inner Mongolia forestry enterprises logging forest investigation and design rules” states: “Clear-cut operations area not allowed more than ten hectares ”. This provision is favorable to the renewal of the forest, but it is not economically viable to produce timber in the cutting area. Clear-cut operations, the most suitable area for the work area should be both conducive to the regeneration of forests, forests, expanded reproduction, but also help to reduce the cost of cutting timber production. The above two aspects are interrelated, and one-sided emphasis on one side is unscientific. This article is to explore the economic benefit of cutting wood production and ensure that there will not be any significant changes in forest environmental conditions after harvesting, making forest harvesting a means of using forests and ensuring the ecological balance of forests.
