为使我国女子400m 栏项目早日冲出亚洲走向世界,探索科学训练的规律,对400m 栏运动员陈冬梅的四年训练规划的组织实施与有效的训练控制等问题进行了研究。结果表明,运动员迅速提高400m 成绩和选择适合自己的最佳栏间跑节奏模式,是提高400m 栏成绩的重要内容;400m 成绩主要取决于速度和速度耐力的发展水平,而增强力量,改善中枢神经系统的功能,掌握和提高放崧快跑的能力与节奏,是提高速度和速度耐力的有效途径。
