写在前面的话：初夏的湖北已是热浪袭人，在省公安厅基层基础工作处副处长石军、何畏及保安工作科科长龚晓超同志的陪同下，记者对武汉、襄樊、荆门和宜昌四地公安机关及8家保安服务公司进行了采访，感触颇深。湖北全省各级公安机关在为保障保安服务业的健康发展，发挥了重要的职能作用。各保安服务公司也抓住机遇，为下一步的大发展在摩拳擦掌。结束各地采访，记者就一路见闻和感受，采访了省公安厅基层基础工作处处长董国祥，董处长说道：“湖北保安是势如破竹，蓄势待发！”记者对此由衷地表示赞同，并在采访中也深切地体会到了这种态势。
